Having finished his venture with Berlin band The Blind Passengers, Nik Page continues with    
his solo career. Lying somewhere between anonymity and notoriety, he has just released        
“Rocketqueen”, his third album, which is best described as electro-horrorpunk with a touch    
of glamour.
A solemn, deathly voice emanates from Nik Page’s deep throat, halfway between David Bowie     
and Rammstein’s Till Lindemann. “Rocketqueen”, which is partly in German and partly in        
English, includes a variety of guests. Koefte de Vill, singer of the psychobilly group Mad    
Sin, thrashes about wildly on “Black Jack Society”. Luminor, ex-Cinema Bizarre, performs      
vocals on the solid-sounding “Fight”. Rod Usher of The Other appears on the darkwave punk     
track “Nie mehr”.                                                                             

All in all, Nik Page’s robust and powerful post-rock music on “Rocketqueen” proves to be
